Pu Luong trekking 4 days tour

Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to board the bus and start the trip to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. You will have a stop in Thung Khe Pass for a spectacular view of Mai Chau Valley. During the stop, you can see the local stands selling typical products. Take a chance to try one of the local specialties, the “Com Lam”, sticky rice cooked in bamboo. Arrival in Pu Luong Nature Reserve for lunch and a break.

Then start the trek to Kho Muong Village & Bat Cave. The trekking will start by a small alley nearby traditional Thai stilt houses until reaching beautiful viewpoints of the infinity rice terraces. Arriving from the top of the hill, you will slowly see the village of Kho Muong and understand how special this place is. After walking around the village, you will walk to the entrance of the cave. Possibility to visit the cave (depending on weather conditions).

Then, you will head to the homestay to rest. You can join the local family to prepare diner with them before sharing dinner together. Quiet night in the homestay.

Enjoy breakfast with the family before saying goodbye and start the trekking day. The trek is going on small path, passing by isolated houses. You will arrive to Pho Doan (on Thursday and Sunday morning, visit of the local market in Pho Doan) Take a break and have lunch in local restaurant.

Then the trek will pass through a small dirt path, passing by an isolated hamlet and through the jungle. You will arrive at the higher part of Hieu village contemplating some stunning views.

Check in at the homestay to refresh yourself.

Then, take a short walk to reach the waterfall, you will see some local houses. Free time to enjoy the waterfall (swimming and water hiking depending on season).

Back to the homestay for dinner and a quiet night

Enjoy breakfast in the homestay before check out and getting ready for the full day trekking.

You will start by reaching the main road and go along until the village of Co Lung where you will see some bamboo waterwheels (depending on seasons). Then continue the trek along the Cham river, passing by local hamlets on the way.

You will arrive to Lang Ca where you will enjoy a lunch at a local family stilt house.

After the lunch and a cup of tea, you will continue to hike along the river though dirt paths and jungle. To be rewarded after this long day walking, you will enjoy a peaceful bamboo rafting cruise on the Cham river. Feel free to enjoy a swim if the weather allows it.

You will then board the car to go to Bang Village. You will check in at Pu Luong Eco Garden. Free time to enjoy the infinity pool or to relax on the terrace of your room.

Dinner and overnight in a cozy and comfortable room.

The morning will be free to enjoy the beautiful Retreat. You can either relax in your room, by the pool or get a walk in the surroundings. The rice terraces in bang village are amongst the most beautiful of the Reserve.

You will enjoy a traditional herbal bath.

It will be time to get ready to check out and to enjoy a last traditional meal at the eco restaurant. Then free time to relax until boarding the bus at 3pm to come back to Hanoi.

Arrival in Hanoi around 7pm.
